Community engagement questionnaire

You will soon receive a Community Engagement document and questionnaire for you to provide your feedback on various items.

These documents are very kindly being distributed by the volunteers who distribute the Newsletter for which we would like to acknowledge and express thanks.

There are just short of 400 to distribute to homes in the Parish. These are done via 15 ‘Newsletter’ delivery rounds (groups of streets/areas in the villages). Some of you are yet to receive yours. It is on the way

These questionnaires are anonymous, and we have no way of knowing which questionnaire goes to which individual house, not least because of the delivery process. Each of the questionnaires includes a unique and random 4-digit code. It is provided to avoid duplication which might pollute the demographic representation of the feedback. These codes also relate to the round/area for those filling the paper form in.

This is ONE per household which allows us to get a sense of the communities’ views.

Each of the 15 areas has its own QR code so we can get a high-level view of feedback relative to the area for those completing the form online.

Finally, but importantly, we do need to make you aware of one typo which we are extremely keen to correct. In the ‘Who Are We’ section, I need to correct the narrative and say: “The Parish Council does NOT govern the Playing Fields Committee”. The word NOT is missing from the document which is an unfortunate error and for which we openly apologise.

This questionnaire is not mandatory, but we hope you will share your views to enable the Council to get a sense of the opinions of the residents of the Parish.

A great deal of thought has gone into this Engagement Initiative, and we are keen to receive your feedback - Thank you.

Many thanks
Your Parish Councillors.
