RISTON PARISH COUNCIL
Introduction:
Riston Parish Council was elected on 4th May 2023 with a 51% turnout from the electorate which for a Parish Council Election is considered very good indeed.
The current chair is Councillor Rebecca Wilson since May 2024 with Vice Chair Councillor Daniel France.
The council was subject to an audit May 2024 and is now in a program of improvements to optimise transparency and working of the council.
“It is our stated aim to be the best run council that we can be and to have a deep connection to our parishioners to do the best for all of them."
The council meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7pm at Riston Village Hall apart from January and August.
The Parish Council owns and runs the
www.ristonparish.org website.
The next election will be May 2028 and the number of councillors will be reduced from 9 to 7.
