PLAYING FIELDS

Long Riston Playing Field Committee is a registered charity (charity number 523268) that manages and maintains the village playing field which includes a range of play and sport facilities.

We are an autonomous self-governing entity that manages the playing fields and facilities on the site in Long Riston, East Yorkshire.

Changing Pavilion providing modern facilities kitchen, toilets, showers.

Currently we also provide space for the Riston Village Hall

The playing fields committee raises funds for these facilities, and we have a large user base within our area, including the village school, football and tennis teams, as well as residents that are simply enjoying the open space and play parks.

Since the late 1990s our small dedicated team has raised funds in excess of £400,000 pounds, which are all reinvested to maintain, and enhance the playing field site.

The areas are currently free to access and enjoy for all, our ethos is to promote healthy lifestyles through play and sport.
